Introduction :

Since the beginning of time, people have had to face limits, limits which are composed of water and which are called oceans and seas. To cross them, men have imagined many inventions.

Nowadays, human beings use boats to navigate on them, planes to pass over them and submarines to pass through them. But we have wondered whether it would possible to actually walk on this water.

This question led us towards several possibilities : first, we thought about animals like some kind of spiders which are called gerrids and some lizards, and both can walk and water, we searched how they can do this to try to invent the same tool for humans. Secondly, we thought about adding active tension on water to transform its viscosity and to make it more solid, to help us to stay on its surface. Finally, we have thought about creating pieces of polystyrene that we could put on our four members (hands and feet) and that could support the weight of an average human being  to float on water and crawl on all fours.
